Hippocrène Foundation commissions The Global Compass to produce a report and recommendation to build public support for the European Project

The EU has entered a very dark period. The Brexit in June 2016 and the rise of populism in many countries across Europe are putting at risk the European project. There is a growing lack of trust and understanding among people about the EU and therefore, an urgent need to address this issue and to foster public understanding and support for the EU. The Global Compass has been tasked by the Hippocrène Foundation to make an assessment of the way information about the EU is spread to the public and to come up with recommendations aimed at building public understanding and support for the European project. The project is due to be released in January 2017 and will be discussed with policy makers, EU Institutions, Government, business leaders and medias.
